Pinch-a-Pot Clay Workshop

Description: Enjoy a Saturday afternoon pinching pots with our fun and enthusiastic instructor
Students will learn hand building skills of coiling and decorate pots. Discover the nuances of
shaping clay with just hands to create the 3 dimensional form.

Figure Drawing with Chang Wei
Instructor: Chang Wei

Materials not provided, please bring preferred drawing materials and sketch book.

Description: Learn basic techniques of figure drawing with artist Chang Wei. Suitable for
beginners, the sessions will focus on the exploration of lines, tones, perspective
and composition through observational and quick poses. Chang Wei, a veteran artist,
trains and skilled in Figure Drawing and Sculpture, teaches in NAFA.

Felt Making Workshop

Materials provided. Participants will bring home a pack of wool kit.
Time: 2pm-3.30pm

Description: Be inspired by an ancient craft of Felt Making using natural wool which is felted
in a simple process of friction, soap and hot water. Enjoy a relaxed Sunday afternoon in
Fort Canning working along side and guided by an experienced instructor. Participant will
have fun making a small table mat and bring home a pack of wool kit.

Sculpture Workshop customized for Primary School Visit. Our Sculpture Day aim to provide,
engage and inspire our young people to create an appreciation of the Sculpture art form. 
From the activities students will be introduce to the basic making using their touch, senses
and imagination hence to respond, to think and to engage with Sculpture. Led by our
experience instructor and local artist, students will benefit and enjoy a great experience
making art in a nature outdoor environment

We will provide an exciting program which includes a art appreciation on the diverse and
growing Sculptures around Singapore, practical hand-on e.g., clay workshop, mobile making,
and making art from nature materials like leaves and twigs found around fort canning park.
Students will have a chance to talk about artist work and present their own work.
