Click here for 1st Singapore International Woodcarving Symposium - SHOWCASE Sculpture Society [Singapore] INTRODUCTION Sculpture Society [Singapore] [SSS], with the support of the National Parks Board [NPARKS], Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts [NAFA] and National Arts Council [NAC], is launching the 1st Singapore International Woodcarving Symposium at the historical Fort Canning Park, Singapore from 17th to 24th June 2007. During the 8-days Symposium, 6 international artists and 8 local artists will be interpreting the theme “In Progress”, to create high quality artworks that bring together artistic and carving expertise. All completed artworks by both international and local artists will be exhibited at the Old Married Soldiers Quarters [OMSQ] and Black Box Theater, Fort Canning Centre from 24th Jun to 1st Jul 2007 |
